Developmental Purpose

To identify and support the development of the most promising young players with meaningful opportunities that better prepare them for selection into US Soccer Market Training Centers and MLS Academies.

How does it work?

The program is FREE of charge and by invitation only. Only players nominated by their clubs or recommended by Next Gen scouts can participate. Players who progress through the levels are recommended to US National Development programs, MLS Academies and International Professional Clubs. At all times in our programs, players remain on their club teams.

Who is it for?

BOYS born in 1997 - 2004
GIRLS born in 1999 - 2004

Development Days:
Directors of Coaching or Club Coaches recommend their most promising players to attend local Development Days.

Training Centers.
Players attend regular Training Centers throughout the year.  Centers currently operate in Connecticut, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania & Maryland.

Regional Formation Centers :
The most promising players from the Training Centers are invited to attend 2-3 day residential experiences.  As well as competing in “ best with best” training and meaningful matches, players learn about the importance of their professionalism off the field.

Next Gen Select Squads:
Based on players ability and attitude, Select Squads are chosen to showcase their talent in developmental fixtures with U.S. and International youth academies of professional clubs.

To nominate players from your club into the Next Gen Training Centers  please email TONY WILLIAMS – tony@nextgenusa.org
