Nemours DuPont Pediatrics and Next Gen USA have established a multi-year partnership to support greater access to primary healthcare services for youth soccer participants and their family members in Next Gen USA’s player development programs.
The partnership provides mutually-beneficial opportunities for Next Gen USA participants and their family members who reside in in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware to consult with and access Nemours’ doctors, nurses and specialists regarding pediatric needs and concerns.
Nemours DuPont Pediatrics., which operates from its corporate headquarters in Wilmington, Del., is a non-profit pediatric healthcare system dedicated to life-changing medical care and research. Nemours DuPont Pediatrics advocates for children across all of its service platforms and believes in providing the best possible continuum of care for youth by training tomorrow’s health care practitioners.

Orsa Sport Ltd. and Next Gen USA have established a multi-year player partnership to support the educational development of female youth soccer players in Next Gen USA and Orsa Sport’s player development programs. Orsa Sport Ltd., which operates from its corporate headquarters in Helsinki, Finland, actively supports educational and athletic programming for children and families across Finland. Established in 2005, Orsa Sport operates grassroots soccer programs in various cities across Finland that identify talented players and support their interest in learning to play the game at the highest level. Through a network of corporate and community partners, Orsa Sport is the leader in youth development and benefits from strong working relationships with the Football Association of Finland, Eerikkila National Institute for Sport, and various amateur and professional soccer clubs throughout the country.
The partnership is focused on developing a mutually-beneficial player development platform for top-flight female soccer players in both countries, and to facilitate learning and leadership opportunities through cross-cultural and educational exchange programs. Next Gen USA will organize a National Select Squad Team comprised of female players born in 2002 and 2003 to travel to Finland in December to train at the Finnish National Training Center and compete against Finland’s youth national championship teams. Effective June 1, Next Gen USA will become Orsa Sport’s official international youth development partner for soccer. Orsa Sport will occupy the same designation and help promote the identification, training and education of talented female soccer players in Finland, the United States and other countries where Next Gen USA trains and competes. Further, Next Gen USA’s International Development Festivals, which occur in more than 12 markets throughout the northeastern region of the country, will become official Orsa Sport-scouted events for the identification and recruitment of talented American female players for future placement in clubs and soccer organizations throughout Finland.
Next Gen USA & the United States Specialty Sports Association ("USSSA") have established a long-term partnership to identify and develop promising young soccer players by providing world-class soccer educational opportunities for youth players and coaches across the country. USSSA is the largest multi-sport association in the world with over 4.1 million participants playing on 265,000 teams in 16 nationally-sanctioned Sports Programs.
Effective immediately, Next Gen USA will become USSSA's Official Youth Development Program. As an official partner, Next Gen USA will appoint a national network of District Development Directors who will collaborate with USSSA leadership to plan, develop and implement local soccer talent identification and development models across the country. Through the partnership, the most promising USSSA players will be invited to participate in Next Gen USA's programs, which includes the District Development Squad program, the Next Gen Leadership Academy, and other international program opportunities. The goal of the partnership is to provide a progressive “Best with Best” domestic and International competitive platform together with USSSA.
Craig Scriven, USSSA’s Vice President of Soccer, said “This is an excellent opportunity for our members and we are excited about launching the program with NextGen. Soccer is going through some major transitions at this time with development being the reason behind these moves. Our goal here at USSSA has always been to provide our members with services and programs which benefit each organization, league, club, team and individual player.
