We are pleased by your interest in Next Gen Leadership Academy. The following steps will guide you through the application process. Completed applications are accepted on a rolling basis and families are notified of the admissions decision as space allows.
We encourage all applicants and their families to personally visit the NGLA campus for a tour and interview. A personal interview is a required part of the application process and a great opportunity for students to learn more about the Academy, instructional staff and learning environment. Applicants will interview with one of our Admissions Officers and parents/guardians will have the opportunity to meet with the Headmaster as well. Families should plan to spend about two hours on campus for the tour and interview.
While visiting, students are also welcome to observe a class, meet with teachers or coaches, attend a training session and lunch, or watch a community meeting as our schedule allows. Just let us know of your requests when scheduling your appointment.
To begin the admissions process, please contact Sam GOUGH, NGLA Headmaster, via e-mail: Sam@nextgenusa.org.
Next Gen Leadership Academy seeks applications from talented and motivated students, regardless of family financial resources. Because every family cannot afford this investment, Next Gen Leadership Academy makes financial assistance available to help close the gap between the costs of attending the Academy and a family’s ability to pay, as determined by needs methodology developed by the Financial Aid Committee of NGLA.
To make the Academy affordable to more families, Next Gen Leadership Academy provides several financial options. NGLA is committed to socio-economic diversity, which brings a variety of perspectives and enables students to debate, discover, and expand upon their knowledge of the world. Achieving this greater understanding is critical to preparing students to succeed in all aspects of life. We urge families to apply even if there is concern over the ability to pay tuition.
Awards to qualified students are made in the form of grants and are based upon a demonstration of financial need, coupled with a student’s individual merit. In addition to financial aid, payment schedules are available to accommodate family budgeting and planning needs.
NGLA students utilize the Connections Academy curriculum, which is a combination of online and offline resources from leading educational publishers and curriculum specialists designed to deliver comprehensive, high-quality K–12 online education
