NEXT GEN USA MANAGEMENT TEAM EXPANDS FOR FALL '17
Next Gen USA is delighted to welcome four outstanding young professionals to the management team, effective June 19, 2017. Each person comes to the organization with a wealth of educational, technical and managerial skills - all of which will enhance our existing corps of professionals and strengthen the bonds that exist between players, coaches, parents, teachers and our mission as a whole. Welcome Declan, Dimitry, Haley and Ricky!
NGLA Instructor & Coach
Ricky joins the Next Gen USA family following a sixteen year coaching career, nine of which have been in the U.S. working with various high profile clubs and teams playing across the Northeast as well as internationally.
Ricky earned a Sport & Exercise Science degree from the University of Teesside back in his native England. Throughout his career, Ricky has looked to educate himself and has earned the UEFA B, NSCAA Premier Diploma and NSCAA Director of Coaching licenses along the way.
Over the past two years, Ricky has taught Physical Education and Health in New Jersey and is now on his way to completing a course to be a registered Athletic Director.
Marketing & Communications Coordinator
Haley joins the Next Gen USA family just weeks after matriculating from college. A native of Buckhannon, W.Va., Haley graduated cum laude from Davis & Elkins College, where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing and Management.
Whether on the field or in the classroom, Haley was an accomplished student-athlete. In 2016, she was inducted into the Sigma Beta Delta International Honor Society for Business, Management and Administration. She was a two-sport athlete at D&E as a leader of the Senators' lacrosse and soccer programs during her four-year career.
Haley spent a semester abroad in Barcelona where she developed an appreciation for Catalan culture, customs and traditions. She minored in Spanish and aims to enter graduate studies in the future.
NGLA Instructor & Coach
Declan joins the Next Gen USA family following a successful playing career in his native England with Bradford City F.C. and thereafter at Davis & Elkins College in West Virginia.
Upon earning his Bachelor of Science degree in Health & Physical Education with distinction, Declan earned a graduate fellowship to the School of Education at Frostburg State University where he managed the College's intramural athletics program and also served as an Assistant Coach for the Men's Soccer Team.
Declan will work alongside Sam Gough and other members of the NGLA faculty to deliver small and large group instruction to students enrolled in the school during the 2017-18 year.
Program Development Manager, Select Squads & Coach
Dimitri joins the Next Gen USA family following a successful career with the New York Red Bulls and here locally as a coach with the Monroe (N.J.) Soccer Club. In addition, Dimitri also served as an Assistant Coach at the Pratt Institute in New York.
A graduate of University of California with a Bachelor's of Arts degree in Psychology, Dimitry worked in the local soccer community as a Coaching Director at the Pateadores Club.
Dimitri speaks English, French and Spanish and is currently pursuing an MBA in Sports Management from Southern New Hampshire University.
