financial assistance application

information and application form for next gen USA financial assistance

Next Gen USA seeks applications from talented and motivated student-athletes, regardless of family financial resources. Because every family cannot afford this investment, Next Gen USA makes financial assistance available to help close the gap between the costs of attending a Next Gen USA program and a family’s ability to pay, as determined by needs methodology developed by the Financial Aid Committee of Next Gen USA.

To make Next Gen USA programs affordable to more families, Next Gen USA provides several financial options. Next Gen USA is committed to socio-economic diversity, which brings a variety of perspectives and enables students to debate, discover, and expand upon their knowledge of the world. Achieving this greater understanding is critical to preparing students to succeed in all aspects of life. We urge families to apply even if there is concern over the ability to pay participation fees and tuition.

Awards to qualified students are made in the form of grants and are based upon a demonstration of financial need, coupled with a student’s individual merit. Next Gen USA urges talented and motivated student-athletes to apply for assistance, even if there is a concern over the ability to pay participation fees and tuition, and encourages parents to request application forms and apply for financial assistance.

The Financial Aid Committee keeps all financial information confidential. Financial aid is available to students of any race, color, gender, creed, sexual orientation, or national or ethnic origin. Next Gen USA does not discriminate in its admissions, or in the administration of its educational policies, admissions policies, scholarship programs, or in access to or treatment in any other Next Gen USA-administered program on the basis of religion, race, color, sex, ancestry, sexual orientation, disability, national origin, or any other protected category in accordance with applicable Federal, State and local laws.

The Financial Aid Committee is chaired by the Finance Director and ultimately reports to the President and CEO. Other members of the committee include the Technical Director, Finance Administrator and at least two members of the staff.

Both returning student-athletes and admissions candidates are notified of financial aid decisions within (7) business days upon submission of the online application and receipt of all required documentation. The financial aid decision is e-mailed to parents along with the invitation for enrollment. Parents are required to reply within 30 days.

Financial assistance will be applied as a credit towards a student-athlete's participation in the following Next Gen USA program: IDF, College-Pro Combine, ETC, SRP, Select Squad, and NGLA.
