Next Gen USA is a non-profit organization that focuses on youth development and educational training services for undeserved youth. Headquartered in Burlington, New Jersey, Next Gen USA was established in 2014 and utilizes a proprietary teaching methodology that inspires, educates and empowers youth to become leaders and positive role models in their communities.
Next Gen USA’s core competencies are centered around a holistic, personal development philosophy that encompasses attitude, character and leadership skills training along with academic and athletic instruction in small group settings. Next Gen USA aims to serve youth soccer players between the ages of 9 and 17 years of age who have a genuine passion and interest in the sport of soccer. Currently, more than 2,000 students actively participate in Next Gen USA pilot programs in five states throughout the mid-Atlantic region (NY, NJ, DE, PA & MD). Next Gen USA’s mission is to inspire, educate and empower promising young soccer players
to reach their potential on and off the field. The long-term vision of the company is to develop a scalable business model that can be used by other community-based organizations and partners across the country. By the year, 2020 Next Gen USA will provide educational enrichment and workforce development opportunities for 300 middle and high school students; offer career-specific skills training, job counseling and mentoring programs for more than 1,000 high school students; and foster dialogue and discovery through athletic events and other cross-cultural exchange programs for 20,000 children and families.
An important consideration for Next Gen USA centers around corporate governance issues, primarily concerning its Board of Directors. The Next Gen USA Board is comprised of seven independent directors and one member of the management team. We believe this provides a balance between outside perspective and knowledge of specific business issues impacting our organization. Our management team, led by Tony Williams, features experts in the fields of administration, coaching, communications, education, finance, marketing and risk management.
